HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY to LAPW!
5 years is hard to compare with 6000 years of human activities in Papay, but we hope everybody had a good time. 5 years ago, 15 August, we started LAPW with a great cello performances by James Hesford and Alfia Nakipbekova and now glad to see James in Papay again continuing to compose his ORKNEY SERIES - sound poem of the islands and its people.
We will have a party on Friday 3rd August, but LAPW birthday on 15th we'll be fortunately celebrating with air-meal on our flight from Kirkwall to Bergen with Papay Gyro Nights presentation. So if any well-wishing - bring it to Papay on Friday 3rd August for our B_Day celebration and FROG KING MOBILE MUSEUM opening! 7.30pm till very late @ The Old Kelp Store of Papay |
